Employer Profile: Hamiltonian Artists Fellowship

www.hamiltonianartists.org

Hamiltonian Artists is a 501c (3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing professional development opportunities for creative artists in their early careers. We offer a competitive two-year fellowship program for new innovative visual artists in all media, which are awarded through an annual competition.

The So Hamiltonian Fellows Program will function as a creative incubator for artists who have finished their academic training and may still be exploring their artistic directions in alternative art spaces, but have not yet transitioned into a career path as an exhibiting artist. It is our hope that artists represented by the gallery will learn some of the basic entrepreneurial skills necessary to achieve success as an exhibiting artist while they continue to grow artistically. At the same time, they will also gain valuable experience in the administration of both a non-profit art space and a commercial gallery.
