Internship Position

Intern will help coordinate window installations, communications, marketing, general retail experience and community outreach.

Employer Profile: Oxman Studios – Bethesda, MD

Oxman Studios

Oxman Studios, Inc. is a professional sculpture studio owned and operated by nationally collected artist, Zachary Oxman. For 22 years, Zachary has been creating unique works of art for individuals, corporations and public entities; including two U.S. Presidents. Zachary’s studio offers 6,000 square feet of both work and gallery space to create and exhibit his sculptures.

Internship Position

Task: Will assist artist, learn and perform basic metal working and mold making projects. Intern will assist in maintaining and organizing studio.

Qualifications:   Must be comfortable working with power tools, lifting heavy materials and wearing provided protective gear. It’s helpful, but not necessary, to have metal working and mold making experience.

Oxman Studios utilizes multiple 3d and 2d software programs in the design and fabrication of the sculpture(RHINO, ZBRUSH, KEYSHOT and PHOTOSHOP). Knowledge of these programs would be an added asset.

Responsibilities include day to day office administrative operations, greeting clients and scheduling client meetings, tracking business finances, assist with business development and marketing, creating company newsletter, event planning, maintaining office supply inventory, etc. Ideal candidate is capable of wearing many hats and looking for a long term commitment. Quickbooks or Photoshop skills are a plus.

Assist Graphics Coordinator in creating graphic flyers, proposal materials, create marketing materials for architectural firm such as brochures, videos, interactive animations for company website, etc. We are very open to discuss your specialties and how we can incorporate that into a specific project for marketing UDG. We are very flexible on scheduling and hours.
