CannonDesign has an exceptional opportunity for an Environmental Graphic Designer based in our Washington, DC office.

This entry level Environmental Graphic Design position will participate in the design, documentation, and implementation of a wide variety of environmental graphic design projects ranging from wayfinding and signage systems, donor recognition, interpretive programs, graphic programs, environmental branding, and exhibit design for education, healthcare, sports complexes and a corporate client base. Additional graphic design projects will include identity development and print projects.

Qualified candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or related design discipline.

Exceptional design portfolio.

Strong background in typography.

Previous Environmental Graphic internship experience highly valued.

Proficiency on the Macintosh in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign required, skills in AutoCAD and SketchUp a plus.

Must be a self-starter with strong problem-solving, conceptual, and project management skills. Strong communication skills required as is the ability to work well collaboratively. Attention to detail a must.
